The nose puts cherries front and center, intertwined with roses with heavier tar and graphite, before umami flavors of mushroom, balsamic vinegar, seaweed and soy slowly emerge. On the chalky palate, dark chocolate pushes up against the showboating cherries before a kick of spice sets up a long, energetic finish.

Colour: very deep cherry. Nose: characterful, fruit preserve, scrubland, cocoa bean, dry stone. Palate: good structure, concentrated, long, balanced.

Brilliant, flint ruby red. Earthy hints initially on the nose, carried by fine tea, plus resinous tones, again candied raspberry and rosehip, very seductive. On the palate polished and with a creamy fruit core, spreads excitingly, beautiful harmony, balanced, drinks very well, excellent success.

A blend of 67% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot, this wine is full of polish and class. Big and enveloping giving immediate pleasure in the vibrant sensory picture that is rich with sour cherries, wild un-ripe strawberries, crumbled plaster, withered jasmine and wet lavender. Full bodied, juicy and brilliant on the palate showing the greatness of the terroir and the correct interpretation of a slightly early harvest. The tannins are mature and slightly rustic giving dynamism and tension and the finale is vertical, one of the freshest and sharp in the tasting.

Bold and beautiful, this powerful Zin has a deep, dark color that's practically black but with a brilliant ruby rim. Brooding aromas suggest wood smoke, black pepper and boysenberry. There is an impressive density in texture, as firm tannins and acidity support the rich array of flavors.

Bright ruby red. On the nose, expressive and clear, with cherry and orange, rose hip, and rubbed pepper in the echo. The palate is gripping, with grippy, juicy tannins and also shows shy red-berry fruit. The wine ends on fine earthy notes.

Grown in the mineral rich red soils of Istria, it has enticing aromas of fresh black raspberry, black cherry and black plum. Rich and full-bodied in the mouth, flavors recall fresh plums and ripe cranberries.

Sweet black plums, black cherries, chocolate, espresso, and licorice on the nose, are also found on the fresh, forward, chalky palate.

Ripe, lush, round and packed with crushed rocks, herbs and spice, is already easy to taste. The majority of the blend is Grenache with a bit of Syrah and Mourvedre and is a selection from various parcels.

Erbaluna has crafted an interesting aromatic wine that shows sweet jammy fruit, licorice and violets. It still seems young, and has the structure to benefit from a few more years of bottle age, but it drinks well now.

This wine has a good structure, firmly sustaining the black fruits and juiciness. A mineral edge gives a fine texture.

Subtle aromas of sunbaked earth, ripe berry and camphor take shape in the glass along with a floral note. The elegant palate is on the lighter side of medium-bodied, offering tart red cherry, ground clove and a hint of mocha alongside polished tannins.

This is a well-structured spicy wine with fresh acidity and lots of fruit. It opens with aromas of meaty red fruit, green bell pepper and peppercorn. Chalky tannins support similar notes of spices and herbs on the palate. A core of plum and blackberry adds to its complexity. It finishes with sweet notes of fruit and tobacco.

Intense and captivating, amiable in the scents of wet red flowers, blue prunes, blueberry juice and sweet caramel. The secondary scene is radiant thanks to the synchronous presence of geraniums, rose petals and star of anise. Medium bodied, fine grained tannins perfectly integrated, a slim finale which excites in the graceful, luminous closing.

Strong ruby, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Fresh blackberries, wild blackberries, some leather and herbs, delicately underlaid with liquorice. Juicy, elegant, fine roasted caramel and sweet cherries, nougat on the finish, good freshness, shows length and ageing potential.
